Richland Grade School students shine in the Dexter Elks Lodge essay contest on "What does patriotism mean to me?" with Jackson Porter and Emma McMullin advancing to the next division.

Winers are from Richland Grade School.
They are first place, fifth-grader Jackson Porter and sixth-grader Emma McMullin; and second place, sixth-graders Alexis Smith and Aubrie Cassinger.

The American essay contest from the Dexter Elks Lodge was held with the topic, “What does patriotism mean to me?”

The top two winners will go on to the next division contest. Winers are from Richland Grade School.
