Area residents gathered at Dexter's West Park Sunday evening in peaceful protest. The peaceful protest joined others across the nation in response to the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Four Minneapolis police officers have been arrested and charged in connection with Floyd's death. The group in Dexter stood in prayer with Dexter police officers during the event. The group lined the sidewalk running along side Business 60 while holding signs.
