Dexter Fire Department engaged with the community by reading to second graders at Southwest Elementary School during the week of March 3.
Dexter Fire Department cuts ventilation holes in a house to remove heat and smoke. They responded to a house fire at 3:29 p.m. March 10. The house was on fire on the outside wall and the attic was over 50% on fire, according to DFD.
