Riders roll the dice. The ride is a dice run, meaning at each of stops (the first being the Elks Lodge) the riders will roll a set of dice. The highest total after the five rolls wins the $200 first prixe.

The 9th annual Ride For a Cure left the Dexter Elks Lodge Saturday morning. The ride is held in honor of Dexter native Larry Maronay, who lost his battle to cancer. The ride races funds for St Jude Children's Research Hospital, where Maronay was treated. The event also features a silent auction, 50/50 drawing and a meal for the riders following the ride.
