The Stars & Stripes Museum reports they are close to announcing details for the grand opening of their new addition.

Improvements at the museum continued in February with the donation of new bookshelves for the library by W.W. Wood Products, which also provided labor for the installation.

“We are thrilled with how it looks and are grateful to have local companies like W.W. Wood for their support of the museum,” the museum staff reported in their March newsletter.

They also thanked Steve Sears again for his contributions to the new addition.

Because of donors like these, the expansion project is transforming the facility and enhancing its ability to showcase important military vehicles and artifacts, museum officials said.

“Every contribution brings us closer to completing this important addition that will enhance our visitors’ experience and better preserve our military history for future generations,” they reported. “The new wing represents more than just additional square footage — it’s about creating an accessible, comfortable space where visitors can connect with our military history. Your support will help us complete this vision and continue our mission.”
