Stoddrd County ARC awards two scholarships

The Stoddard County ARC has awarded two $1,000 scholarships to area residents, Misty Kaufman and Cassidy Bess. The scholarship is payable in two installments of $500 per semester. To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must be a resident of Stoddard County, maintain a “B” average (3.0 GPA), take a minimum of 12 hours per semester and pursue a degree in Special Education or a related field of study. ...

Eight new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Stoddard County; breakdown by community released

Eight new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed Friday afternoon by Ben Godwin, Director of the Stoddard County Health Center. Godwin confirmed one recovery as well. The county now sits at 310 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 58 active cases, 242 recovered and 10 deaths. The breakout at the assisted living center sits at 14 confirmed cases with 13 active and one death...
