Ettie Lee Mayo, daughter of the late Raymond DeJournett and Vivian Swan DeJournett Rogers, was born near Idalia on May 18, 1932, and died at the SoutheastHEALTH Center of Stoddard County in Dexter on Sept. 24, 2015, at the age of 83. She had lived in the Bloomfield area all of her life. She was a member of the St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia. She had worked as a side seamer at Elder Manufacturing for 43 years...

Freda Jennings, daughter of the late Pera and Bertie Bollinger Hickerson, was born near Bell City on Nov. 12, 1913, and died at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Center in Dexter on Sept. 24, 2015, at the age of 101. She had lived in the Bloomfield area all of her life. She was a charter member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield...
