POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- The Board of Trustees for Three Rivers College has authorized the sale of $5.4 million in bonds to fund development in Sikeston and Poplar Bluff. The bonds were authorized on Dec. 19, during the Board's monthly meeting. Martha Allene Ivester, 80, a resident of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born March 26, 1932, in Miami, Fla., to the late William and Martha (Herndon) Perry. Martha worked in her home as a childcare provider most of her life, and she and her husband, Harry owned and operated a Western Auto Store in Cape Girardeau for a few short years in the 1970's...
