Dexter schools announce staff changes for 2025, with retirements and new hires, including key roles in teaching and coaching. Transitions involve assistant principals, cheer coaches, and more.

The Dexter Board of Education held a special meeting March 7. At that time, the board made several personnel moves.

The board approved the resignation, retirement, and/or recension effective at the conclusion of the 2024-25 school year of: Megan Miller, assistant principal at Central Elementary; Alex Brotz, middle school cheer coach; Rob Scott, fifth grade teacher; and Kathryn Ashley-bus driver and paraprofessional. These are effective Feb. 27 and March 4.

The board approved the hire of: Justin Peden, middle school head football coach; Natalie Gargas, middle school assistant volleyball coach; Amanda Galloway, middle school special services teacher; Rebekah Holt, ECSE teacher; and Jessica Marston, middle school English language arts teacher. These are for the 2025-26 school year, pending a favorable background check and appropriate certification.
