The Campbell Volunteer Fire Department, with assistance from the Malden Fire Department, responded to a significant fuel storage tank fire off of H Highway on Monday evening. The blaze involved storage tanks containing more than 10,000 gallons of diesel and gasoline, which were actively burning upon the firefighters’ arrival.

According to a statement from the Campbell Volunteer Fire Department, “There were several ruptures and small explosions that we were able to see while responding.
