Friday, Feb. 14

Brewin Business

Brewin’ Business will be hosted by Joe Craig’s Soulmarks on Friday, Feb. 14. Join us for coffee and connections from 7:30a .m.- 8:30 a.m. Soulmarks is located at 444 N. Walnut.

Story time

The Buzz Salon & Spa at Advance will host story time at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7. The book will be, “I Am Enough,” by Grace Byers.

Saturday, Feb. 15

Spaghetti dinner fundraiser

The Dexter Masonic Lodge will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. This event will take place from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. It will be held at the First Church of God, 505 N. Catalpa. $10 for all you can eat spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and drink.

Karaoke contest

The Advance Eagle’s will host a karaoke contest Saturday, Feb. 15. There is a $10 fee. Entries begin at 6 p.m. with the contest starting at 7 p.m.

Friday, Feb. 21

Chili feast

American Legion Post 59 will host a Chili Feast from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at 620 W. Oak. Cost is $5 per person. First responders and children eat free. There will be a 50/50 drawing. Must be present to win. Proceeds support the American Legion’s efforts to help veterans.

Saturday, Feb. 22

Kids Day

The Stars and Stripes Museum at Bloomfield will host Kids Day at the Museum from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22. The day will focus on the life and works of author Shel Silverstein. Activities will include readings, crafts and more.

Food pantry fundraiser

A Valentine’s Banquet will be held Saturday, Feb. 22, at Fusion Church in Advance. The event will support the Advance Community Food Pantry. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. and entertainment starts at 6 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 27

Ribbon cutting

Decker Bookkeeping will host a ribbon cutting at noon Thursday, Feb. 27, at their location, 112 W. Stoddard St.
