Police, first responders training Wednesday at Dexter schools

The Dexter Police Department will conduct a training July 17 at Dexter schools.

It will be a mock active shooter training. It will be conducted in the morning hours of Wednesday, July 17.

The Dexter Police Department will participate, along with Dexter Fire Department, Stoddard County Sheriff’s Department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Stoddard County EMS.

The Dexter Police Department wants the public to be aware this a training only and not an actual incident, according to a press release.
