Lawrence Wethington, son of the late Virgil and Elsie Johnson Wethington, was born Aug. 24, 1935, in Stoddard County, Essex, Missouri, and departed this life July 6, 2024, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 88.

Graveside services were conducted at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield Wednesday, July 10, 2024.
