Caregiver support

Paradigm Senior Management is hosting a Dexter Dementia Caregiver Support Group the second Wednesday of the month from 5:30-7 p.m. at 300 N. Walnut Street.

Summer reading

Marty the Magician will be at Keller Public Library from 11 a.m.-noon Wednesday, June 12. This is part of the summer reading program.

Thursday, June 13

Farmer’s market

Dexter Farmer’s Market is open 4-6 p.m. Thursdays through Oct. 3 at East Park. Those interested in being a vendor can contact the Chamber at info@dexterchamber.com or 573-624-7458.

Friday, June 14

Rotary golf

Dexter Rotary Club will host a four person scramble Friday, June 14. Registration will begin at 11 a.m., lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the scramble will start at 12:30 p.m. It is $400 per team to play.

Brewin’ Business

Brewin’ Business will be hosted by VNA of Southeast Missouri from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Friday, June 14. This will be located at 919 W. Business 60 in Dexter.

Customer appreciation

Buddy’s Home Furnishing will host a customer appreciation event with food and giveaways. This will be held from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, June 14, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, June 15.

Saturday, June 15

Car Show

The fifth annual Charity Car Show will be held from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Autry Morlan Nisson. Awards will be given at 2 p.m. Registration will be $20 with all proceeds going to the local Women’s House, Jeremiah House and the Men’s Recovery, Kinder House. Attendance is free.

Live music

Easton Corbin, who recently released the album, “Let’s Do Country Right,” will perform at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at The Camp. Tickets are $30.

Monday, June 17

Ribbon cutting

A ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration will be held from noon-1 p.m. Monday, June 17, at IV Salon and Spa, 201 E. Stoddard St.

Senior dance

The American Legion, 620 W. Oak St., will host a senior dance at 7 p.m. Monday, June 17. Admission is $5. The band Restless Ramblers will perform. Everyone is welcome.

Wednesday, June 19

Summer reading

Keller Public Library will host its summer reading program from 11 a.m.-noon. Local educator Pamela Mills will share her adventure of finding dinosaur bones in Montana.
