Wayne Owens, son of the late Rube Owens and Minnie Gordan Owens, was born Sept. 8, 1944, in Danville, Kentucky and departed this life March 1, 2024, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 79.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday March 6, 2024, at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri. Funeral Services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday March 6, 2024. Interment will follow in Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
