Carol Swallows, daughter of the late Paul Parris, and Bessie Henson Swallows, was born Sept. 19, 1943, in Essex, Missouri, and departed this life Feb. 26, 2024, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 80.

Graveside services were held at Dexter Cemetery Feb. 29, 2024.

Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter assisted with arrangements.
