A Kennett man was arrested on multiple drug related charges following a traffic stop on near Advance.
According to Chief Deputy Andy Holden with the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department, Stoddard County Deputy Ryan Vincent conducted a traffic stop on State Highway 25 near Advance for an equipment violation.
Holden said the driver, later identified as Lee Roy Foley, 38 of Kennett, was found to be in possession of approximately five Pounds of marijuana, three pounds of methamphetamine, two chocolate bars containing “magic mushrooms” and pills which were determined to be a controlled substance.
Holden said Foley was charged with the 1st degree class A felony trafficking drugs or attempt and the class D felony possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. Foley is being held without bond in the Stoddard County Jail.
