Ann Worley, the daughter of the late Walter Norrid and Ethel Rievley Norrid was born on August 12, 1933, in Mingo, Missouri and departed this life on June 22, 2021, at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 87.
Ann was a resident of Dexter since 1950, and a graduate of Dexter High School. Ann worked as a bookkeeper for Worley Implement Company for 15 years. Ann enjoyed reading and golfing in her free time. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dexter and was also a member of P.E.O.
On July 12, 1951, she was united in marriage to Charles L. Worley in Dexter. Mr. Worley preceded her in death on December 27, 1989.
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Ann Bracey and husband Michael Bracey of Portageville, Missouri, and Kay Martin and husband Doug Martin of O’Fallon, Missouri; by sister- in- law, Phyllis Norrid Green of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; by four grandchildren, Thomas Bracey, Lauren Schick (Joseph), Courtney Martin, Ben Martin; and by one great-grandchild, Noah Bracey.
Other than by her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob R. Norrid and Mack Dwight Norrid, and by a special friend Leroy Green.
Visitation was held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 11 a.m. until noon. Funeral services were conducted in the Mathis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at noon. with Rev. Terry Lippstreu officiating. Interment followed in Dexter Cemetery.
