Stoddard County confirms 14 new cases of COVID-19; 36 recoveries

The director of the Stoddard County Health Center, Ben Godwin, confirmed 14 new cases of COVID-19 and 36 recoveries.

The county now sits at 2,843 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 75 active, 2,708 recoveries and 60 deaths.

Godwin also released an updated community breakdown of active cases.

Dexter has 36 active cases, Bloomfield 15, Puxico 10, Bernie 5, Advance and Dudley 4 each and Essex 1.

“Please consider wearing a mask or other face covering while out in public,” said Godwin. “Controlling this virus is the responsibility of all Stoddard County residents.”
