The director of the Stoddard County Health Center, Ben Godwin, confirmed the 45th COVID-19 related death Wednesday afternoon. The case was related to a nursing home outbreak.

Godwin also confirmed 26 new cases of COVID-19 and 17 recoveries. The county now sits at 2,210 confirmed cases, 230 active, 1,935 recovered and 45 deaths.

Broken down by age group the cases are 0 to 19 – 318 cases, 20 to 29 – 293 cases, 30 to 39 – 287 cases, 40 to 49 – 339 cases, 50 to 59 – 292 cases, 60 to 69 – 280 cases, 70 to 79 – 222 cases and 80-plus – 179 cases. Broken down by gender the county has confirmed 926 cases in males and 1,284 cases in females.
