Ben Godwin, Director of the Stoddard County Health Center, confirmed the 31st COVID-19 related death in the county. Godwin said the patient was not related to the nursing home outbreak. Godwin also confirmed 54 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the county to 1,500 confirmed cases. Ben Godwin, Director of the Stoddard County Health Center, confirmed the 31st COVID-19 related death in the county. Godwin said the patient was not related to the nursing home outbreak.

Godwin also confirmed 54 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the county to 1,500 confirmed cases. The county now sits at 1,500 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 300 active, 1169 recoveries and 31 deaths.

Broken down by age group the cases are 0 to 19 – 188, 20 to 29 – 215 cases, 30 to 39 – 199 cases, 40 to 49 – 241 cases, 50 to 59 – 196 cases, 60 to 69 – 186 cases, 70 to 79 – 156 cases and 80-plus – 119 cases. Broken down by gender the county has confirmed 626 cases in males and 874 cases in females.

There will be a free COVID-19 testing site at the Lighthouse Church on November 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anyone wishing to be tested can register at www.health.mo.gov/ or by calling 1-877-435-8411. Godwin said anyone may be tested and need not be symptomatic.
