A second nursing home outbreak of COVID-19 has occurred in Stoddard County. Ben Godwin, Director of the Stoddard County Health Center, has confirmed the facility has a total of 11 confirmed cases at this time. Ten cases are residents with an additional case being an employee. Authorities are not identifying the facility at this time.
Over all Stoddard County saw a three day spike of 28 confirmed cases with 25 over the weekend and three on Monday. Godwin also confirmed six recoveries. The county now stands at 292 confirmed cases with 49 active, 234 recovered and nine deaths.
Broken down by age group the cases are 0 to 19 – 31 cases, 20 to 29 – 50 cases, 30 to 39 – 34 cases, 40 to 49 – 41 cases, 50 to 59 – 44 cases, 60 to 69 – 33 cases, 70 to 79 – 27 cases and 80-plus – 32 cases. Broken down by gender the county has confirmed 125 cases in males and 167 cases in femal
