Ben Godwin, Director of the Stoddard County Health Center, has has released a breakdown of active COVID-19 cases in each community in Stoddard County. The breakdown is Bloomfield with one case, Dexter with 10 cases, Dudley and Painton each have one case. Puxico has three confirmed active cases. This list does not include the nursing home outbreak.
“Keep in mind, the situation is very serious in all of Stoddard County, not just the communities listed,” said Godwin. “In order to best protect yourselves, you should treat everyone as they may be a source of COVID-19 and you should distance yourselves accordingly.”
“We cannot express enough, how important it is that you social distance yourselves from others,” said Godwin. “Masking is also suggested. Simple measures to reduce your opportunity to be infected by COVID-19 will go a long way in keeping you safe.”
