The Stoddard County SB40 Board accepted the resignation of administrator Dana McClure Monday evening at a special meeting.

The board agreed to pay the new administrator a starting salary of $20 to $23 per hour. The new administrator will work approximately 10 hours a month.

The duties of the administrator consist of attending SB40 meetings; preparing agendas; typing board minutes and annual contracts with the ARC, Sheltered Workshop and Department of Mental Health (DMH); taking care of items that are to be mailed, preparing annual projected budgets and monitoring budgets.

The administrator will attend other meetings as required, monitor laws and regulations that may affect disabled individuals and advise the board of new programs. The administrator is also required to perform accounting duties such as deposits, pay invoices, taxes, payroll, etc.

A new administrator will be named at a later date.

The board approved the continuation of declaratory action to invalidate a lease agreement between SB40 and Target Case Management (TCM). Currently TCM leases a building from the SB40 board for $1,200 a month for 25 years. The lease carries an option to renew for another 25 years. The SB40 felt this lease was below fair market value. At the time the lease was agreed upon, multiple members served on both the SB40 and TCM boards. This is no longer the case.
