The Keller Public Library has awarded a $4,153 LSTA technology grant. The grant was made possible through the Missouri State Library.

The grant will be used to replace four outdated computers in the library's computer lab. The grant will pay 75 percent of the total project cost. This will allow the library to remain on target with its regular equipment replacement policy.

The policy allows the library to offer best technology environment it possibly can. The library serves an average of 3400 guests in the computer lab each year. Computer use is a free service offered by the library with one-on-one lessons for anyone who requests them.

The computer upgrade service project is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State.
