Faye Delores Miller, 85, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Faye was born on May 8, 1934 in Lutesville, Mo., the daughter of Herbert and Ethel (Elledge) Crites. On Aug. 22, 1952, she married Robert Ferrell Miller in Essex, Mo. Faye Delores Miller, 85, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Faye was born on May 8, 1934 in Lutesville, Mo., the daughter of Herbert and Ethel (Elledge) Crites. On Aug. 22, 1952, she married Robert Ferrell Miller in Essex, Mo. Together they shared more than 60 years of marriage before his passing Aug. 20, 2013

Faye was a member of First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff. Faye graduated as valedictorian of her 1951 high school class. In 1990, she retired as a supervisor for the Division of Employment Security. Faye enjoyed playing golf and bridge, working crossword puzzles and on occasion, rafting white water rivers with her grandkids. Faye’s (Granny’s) love and devotion to her family was immeasurable.  Her kind and loving soul will be missed by many.   

Survivors include, her children; Ken F.(Wenmay) Miller of Littleton, Colo., Lynn W.(Cindy) Miller, of Farmington, Mo., and Michael A. Miller of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren; Jennifer (Eric) Roth, Lance Miller, Matthew Miller, and Andrew Miller; three great-grandchildren; Jade, Cannon and Lila Faye Roth; a brother, Gary (Dorothy) Crites of Dexter, Mo.; a brother-in-law, William J. (Eleanor) Miller of Maple Grove, Minn.; six nieces and nephews, Andy, Shawn, Lisa and Charles Crites, Brian and Chris Mourfield.

In addition to her husband, Faye was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Marilyn Joanne.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the chapel at Moore Funeral Service, 1100 Iron Bridge Road, Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Wibert officiating.

Interment will follow Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
