Four Dexter High School students have had nine pieces of art between them accepted by the Southeast Missouri State University Art Department. Those pieces of art will appear at at the 41st annual high school art exhibition entitled the Exhibtion of Excellence from Feb. 10 until March 17. The exhibition will appear at the Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State University's River Campus. The fours students are left to right: Savannah Gourley, Jillian Avery, Madeline Ayers and Addyson Green. Gourley earned second place in drawing and mixed media and a honorable mention in fibers. Avery earned third place in printmaking and mixed media.
