Oct. 17-19, 2015

* At 9:07 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 15, Dexter Police responded to a domestic violence call at the 1500 block of Lyndel Street. No arrests were made.

* At 10:41 p.m., Friday, Oct. 16, Dexter Police arrested Randy Lee Christian, 33, of Dexter, on a Stoddard County warrant for theft/stealing. Bond was set at $4,500.

* At 12:04 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, Dexter Police investigated theft of fuel at 905 West Business Highway 60.

* At 12:27 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, Dexter Police received two keys that were found at the intersection of Stoddard Street and Hickory Street.

* At 2:09 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, Dexter Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at 1525 West Business Highway 60. According to the report, the accident occurred when an unidentified vehicle struck a parked 2003 Chevrolet 2500.

* At 3:25 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, Dexter Police arrested Preston W. Simpson, 35, of Dexter, on the charge of stealing/shoplifting.

Stoddard County

Oct. 17-19, 2015

* Steven Ray Scott, 46, of Dexter, was arrested on a warrant for unlawful use of a weapon. Bond was set at $25,000 cash, and he remains in jail at this time.

* Maryann Leona Morris, 22, of Parma, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation. There is no bond, and she remains in jail at this time.

* Brian Joshua Surface, 32, of Sikeston, was arrested on a warrant for domestic assault. Bond was set at $5,000, and he bonded out.

* Timothy Laws, 43, of Advance, was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $7,500, with 10-percent cash allowed. He remains in jail at this time.

Highway Patrol

Oct. 17-19, 2015

* At 1:36 p.m., Friday, Oct. 16, the Missouri Highway Patrol arrested Christopher W. Pounds, 28, of Puxico, on charges of DWI, second-degree misdemeanor child endangerment, driving while revoked, and speeding.

* At 11:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 16, the Missouri Highway Patrol arrested Destiny D. Hicks, 19, of Bloomfield, on a Cape Girardeau Police Department misdemeanor warrant for stealing, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

* At 9:45 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, the Missouri Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 25, one mile north of Bloomfield. According to the report, the accident occurred when a 2009 Nissan Sentra, driven by Taylor L. Noles, 17, of Bloomfield, was stopped and attempting to make a left turn, and was struck in the rear by a 2007 Dodge Dakota, which was driven by Andy F. Robey, 83, of St. Louis. Noles sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

* At 1:40 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, the Missouri Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle accident at Route AB, four miles west of Scott City. According to the report, the accident occurred when a 2015 Dodge Dart, driven by George A. Doolin, 41, of Bloomfield, ran off the right side of the roadway, impacted the ground, overturned, and caught on fire. Doolin sustained minor injuries, and was taken by private vehicle to Missouri Delta Medical Center.

* At 10:48 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, the Missouri Highway Patrol arrested Raymond W. Turnbow, 28, of Bernie, on a Dunklin County felony warrant for dangerous drugs.

* At 12:01 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 18, the Missouri Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle accident on Missouri 91, five miles east of Bell City. According to the report, the accident occurred when a 1995 Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by Edgar L. Hare, of Bell City, struck a deer in the roadway. Hare sustained moderate injuries, and was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
