Charles L. Kight, son of the late Charles C. and Bertha Garrett Kight, born in Stoddard County, Mp. on Sept. 24, 1934, and died at his home in Bell City, Mo. on Sept. 5, 2015, at the age of 80.
Charles had been a resident of Bell City, Mo. for many years. He had worked at Ptitsburg Glass in St. Louis and as a self employed Real Estate Broker. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, was past master and 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge in Bell City and was a member of the Advance Eagles.
On Jan. 12, 1960, he was married to Mary Ann Glamann in Arnold, Mo.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Kight of Bell City, Mo.; two sons, Michael and Maria Kight of St. Louis; David & Teresa (Scheible) Kight of Bell City; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends also survive.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo. Masonic services will be conducted at 7 p.m.
Services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors to be conducted.
