Feeder Cattle and Cow auction for 8/24/2015

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold 12.00-25.00 lower with 
lower quality in the offering and some fall out from the stock market.  
Slaughter cows sold 2.00 lower, bulls not well tested; Demand very 
light and supply light.  Cows made up approximately 10 percent of the 
run, 90 percent feeders.  Steers made up approximately 41 percent of 
the offering, 36 percent heifers with 23 percent feeder bulls.  Offerings 
over 600 lbs totaled around 22 percent.

350 lbs 275.00-300.00; 350-400 lbs 252.50-285.00; 400-500 lbs 240.00-

   Replacement Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2   very few 4-7 yrs old, 1025-
1220 lbs, 2nd and 3rd stage, 1590.00-1750.00 per head.
