Bonnie Jo Noles, daughter of the late Joseph Albert Lopp and Dessa Calera Hogue Lopp, was born on March 28, 1930, in Sikeston and died on Aug. 22, 2015, at her residence in Bloomfield at the age of 85.
Mrs. Noles was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield and had worked as a legal secretary and for U.S. Bank.
On July 29, 1947, she was united in marriage to Taylor H. Noles in Piggott, Ark. Mr. Noles preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 1990.
She is survived by one son, Mark Noles and wife, Sheila of Bloomfield; one daughter, Sylvia Ann Smith and husband, Lyall of Plymouth, Mich.; three brothers, Ted Lopp of New Albany, Ind., Jack Lopp of Sikeston and Dan Lopp of Clarksville, Tenn.; and six grandchildren, Kimberly Ensign, Jennifer Bennett, Corey Noles, Dustin Williams, Christian Noles and Devin Taber.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Lowell Lopp; and two sisters, Brenda Crawford and Cherry Sanders.
Visitation will be held at the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at 7 p.m. in the First General Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Stevens officiating.
