Jarrett Thomas "Buddy" Frazier, son of Cathy Shipman of Cape Girardeau, and the late Brett Frazier, was born on March 13, 1987, in Poplar Bluff, and died on July 24, 2015, in Hilo, Hawaii at the age of 28.

Jarrett had worked in construction and was a resident of Hilo, Hawaii.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Misty Edmonds of Cape Girardeau; three nephews, Jacquin Triplett, JaRon Edmonds and Waylon Powell; his paternal grandparents, Tom and Rita Frazier of Dexter; and by his long-time girlfriend, Ashley Whitt of Springfield, Mo.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Erin Powell.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, July 31, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A memorial service will follow in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

The family requests that donations may be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, 2536 Boutin Drive, Cape Girardeau, Mo 63701.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.
