William "Bill" Moore, son of the late James W. Moore and Katie Adell Sprinkle Moore, was born on Sept. 21, 1942, in Dexter and died on April 22, 2015, at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff at the age of 72.
Mr. Moore was of the Lutheran faith. He had worked for Chrysler Corporation in St. Louis as a line worker and also as a truck driver for Safety Klean. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam War.
On Feb. 27, 1988, he was united in marriage to Berta A. Enriquez in Ore City, Texas. Mrs. Moore survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Christopher Moore; three daughters, Karina, Victoria and Cindy; two brothers, Jimmie Dale Moore and his wife Betty of Dexter and Johnny Ray Moore and his wife Carol of Cabot, Ark.; one sister, Helen Janette Jennings of Arnold, Mo.; and several grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin Eugene Moore and James Richard Moore; and two sisters, Emmer Jane Bledsoe and Carrie Belle Moore.
Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, April 24, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Justin Sponaugle officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with full military honors.
