Harold V. Heaton, son of the late James W. Heaton, Sr. and Clara Mae Green Petifurd, was born on June 2, 1942, in Sikeston, and died on March 29, 2015, at his residence in Dudley at the age of 72. Harold V. Heaton, son of the late James W. Heaton, Sr. and Clara Mae Green Petifurd, was born on June 2, 1942, in Sikeston, and died on March 29, 2015, at his residence in Dudley at the age of 72.

Mr. Heaton had worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for W.W. Wood Products in Dudley and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved hunting and fishing.

On June 11, 1966, he was united in marriage to Judi Smith in East Prairie. Mrs. Heaton survives of their home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Harold Bradley Heaton of Poplar Bluff, Todd Alan Heaton of Dudley and Larry Andrew Heaton of Dudley; two daughters, Angela Dawn Myers of Oroville, Calif., and Monica Page Heaton of Dudley; four brothers, James W. Heaton, Jr. of Dudley, Billy Ray Heaton of Wappapello, Danny Heaton of Marlow, Okla., and Buddy Joe Heaton of Bloomfield; six sisters, Nellie Geneva Allen of Phoenix, Ariz., Patricia Wood of Bloomfield, Brenda Laffoon of Dudley, Ocie Robinson of Dexter, Dorothy Keith of Dexter and Lisa Ann Riefer of Dudley; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, April 3, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A memorial service will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, April 3, 2015, at 6 p.m. with Buddy Heaton officiating.
