Karen Jo Norman

Karen Jo Norman, daughter of Benny Jo Jackson and the late Shirley Jean Evans Jackson, was born in Wichita, Kan., on Feb. 7, 1961, and died at the SoutheastHEALTH Center in Cape Girardeau on March 2, 2015, at the age of 54.

Mrs. Norman was a secretary at the Just Rite Cleaners of Malden and was a resident of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to Robert Drew "Bobby" Norman in Bernie on Sept. 27, 1979. Mr. Norman preceded his wife in death on Oct. 30, 1996.

Survivors include her father, Benny Jackson of Malden; one son, Shane Drew Norman and wife, Sidney of Bernie; one brother, Mark Wayne Jackson and wife, Jan of Campbell; one granddaughter, Sadie Norman also by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Sunday, March 8, 2015, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 9, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Aulden LeBlanc officiating.

Interment will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery in rural Dexter.
