ORAN, Mo. - The Bernie varsity boys improved to 11-1 with a 65-58 road win at Oran Tuesday.
"Tough road win tonight," Bernie coach Brad Botsch said in a press release. "We didn't play particularly well and missed a lot of free throws down the stretch. Oran is well-coached, plays hard, and has two very good scorers. They made us earn everything we got. We just have to keep grinding out wins. That seems to be our style this year. It's tough on the coaches, but an ugly win is better than a pretty loss."

The Bloomfield Wildcats improved to 8-3 with a 62-23 varsity boys basketball victory against Chaffee Tuesday night.
"It took us a few minutes to get going tonight, but once we did I thought we did some good things," Bloomfield coach Jason Karnes said in a press release. "We need two good days of preparation as we head to East Prairie Friday night."
The Bloomfield junior varsity improved to 9-1 with a 58-26 win against Chaffee.
