DEXTER, Mo. - The visiting Jackson Indians varsity boys basketball team led wire to wire in a 70-19 victory against the Dexter Bearcats Tuesday night.

Dexter (0-5) fell behind 10-0 early and was unable to get closer as Jackson (3-1) padded its advantage to 41-9 late in the second quarter.

Bearcats junior Jacob Pedigo put together another solid performance at the guard position. Pedigo hit six of 10 free throws and made a 2-pointer in the first quarter to pace Dexter with eight points.

Jackson six-foot-seven senior Blake Reynolds, who has committed to play basketball at Yale University next season, had success inside and outside the perimeter. Reynolds hit three of his team's four treys and five 2-pointers on his way to a game-high 21 points.

Jackson six-foot-four senior guard Braden Wendel scored all 19 of his points in the first half.

Jackson jumped out to a double digit lead by halftime and hung on for a 38-27 victory against Dexter in the junior varsity contest.

No player finished in double digits for either team in the defensive battle.
