Faye M. Little, daughter of the late Willard Stafford and Vada Dale Stafford was born on Nov. 1, 1925, in Senath, Mo., and died on Dec. 13, 2014, at the Elsberry Health Care Center at the age of 89.
Mrs. Little was a home-maker and retired from the Drury Inn in Maryland Heights as a house-keeper. She was of the Assembly of God faith.
On Nov. 24, 1945, she was united in marriage to Nathaniel Little in Clay County, Ark. Mr. Little preceded her in death on July 15, 1993.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, James "Jim" (Sandy) Little of Barnhart, Mo., Buddy Ray (Deanna) Little of Foley, Mo., and Alan Dale (Penny) Little of Overland, Mo.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda (Roy) Blankenship of Park Hills, Mo., and Janie (Ed) Sullivan of St. Peters, Mo.; one brother, Roy (Bonnie) Stafford of Dexter; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Richard "Rick" Little; five brothers, Houston Stafford, Von Stafford, Dean Stafford, Dub Stafford and Willie Stafford; two sisters, Marie Kimble and Inez Stafford and three grandchildren.
Visitation was held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014. Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Stafford officiating.
Interment followed in the Hagy Cemetery.
