SIKESTON, Mo. - The Dexter middle school girls basketball program concluded its season on a high note with a pair of road victories at Sikeston Thursday night.
The Dexter seventh grade finished with a record of 10-3 as it secured a 36-6 victory against Sikeston.
Four players tallied points for the Dexter seventh grade against Sikeston. Annie Slaton led with way with 14 points. Alexa Werneck added 10 more points, Margo Nea tallied eight points and Maddie Slaton calculated four points.
The Dexter eighth grade improved to 13-1 with a 65-29 win against Sikeston.
Seven players recorded points for the Dexter eighth grade. Chaylea Mosby paced Dexter with 35 points. Natalie Sitze also finished in double digits with 13 points. Maycie Martin added six more, Rylee Allen tallied four points, Maci McBride scored three points and Anna Bishop and Keirston Keirsey scored two points each.
