Clarence Franklin "Frank" Von Ruedgisch, 67, of Dexter, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at Golden Living Center, in Malden. Mr. Von Ruedgisch was born in Dexter on Nov. 6, 1946, to Fred and Margaret McFarlen Parker Von Ruedgisch. Clarence Franklin "Frank" Von Ruedgisch, 67, of Dexter, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at Golden Living Center, in Malden.

Mr. Von Ruedgisch was born in Dexter on Nov. 6, 1946, to Fred and Margaret McFarlen Parker Von Ruedgisch. He had worked in the construction business as an electrician and retired from the military, serving his country in the United States Navy and the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Talking to people, hunting for arrowheads and fishing, were a few of his passions.

He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Cochran, of Bernie; one sister, Jobyna Owens, of Poplar Bluff; four brothers, Jim Von Ruedgisch, of Texas, John Dean Von Ruedgisch, of Searcy, Ark., Burley Von Ruedgisch and Jerry Von Ruedgisch, both of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents and two brothers, Fred and Melton Von Ruedgisch, preceded him in death.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, on Friday, Sept. 25, 2014, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Garvin Fisher officiating.

Cotrell Funeral Service of Poplar Bluff is in charge of arrangements.
