A wreck on Highway 60, one mile east of Dexter Monday, left a Sikeston man with minor injuries.

The Highway Patrol was summoned to the scene just after noon Monday when a westbound 1994 Ford Ranger was struck in the westbound lane of traffic as he was crossing the highway.

Driving a northbound vehicle was Jeffery L. Fortner, 55, of Bloomfield. He was struck by a westbound 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Fraklin M. Blissett, 20, of Sikeston. Blissett was taken by private conveyance to a Sikeston hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the wreck.
