Wanda A. Kelm, 72, of Advance, died July 6, 2014, at her home in Advance. She was born Nov.16, 1941, the daughter of Carl and Marjorie Cheathan Denton. Wanda had been a homemaker and a member of Advance First Church. She loved being a mother and loved her pets...

Wanda A. Kelm, 72, of Advance, died July 6, 2014, at her home in Advance. She was born Nov.16, 1941, the daughter of Carl and Marjorie Cheathan Denton.

Wanda had been a homemaker and a member of Advance First Church. She loved being a mother and loved her pets.

Wanda and Hanley Kelm were united in marriage on May 27, 1960, in Michigan, and he preceded her in death on July 25, 2013.

Survivors include a son, Ricky Kelm of Dexter; one daughter, Debra Kelm of Advance; two sisters, Iva Jean Penley of Baroda, Mich., and Georgetta Denton of Michigan; four grandchildren, Kelsey Kelm, Brody Harkness, Tana Harkness and Riley Kelm; and two great-grandchildren, Alexis Kelm and Hailyn Harkness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the chapel with Rev. Brad Moore officiating.

Interment will follow at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Brosley, Mo.
