DUDLEY, Mo. -- A Malden man was injured in a Saturday afternoon wreck near Dudley, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Rebecca D. Lehnig, 21, was southbound on Hwy. ZZ, two miles south of Dudley at 12:45 p.m. Saturday when he was struck by a northbound vehicle that then left the scene. The Lehnig vehicle, a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier, left the roadway and struck a ditch, injuring a passenger, 26-year-old Ryan A. Lehnig. He was transported by ambulance with moderate injuries to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The patrol report stated that neither of the Lehnigs were equipped with a seat belt at the time of the accident.
