JACKSON, Mo. - The Dexter middle school boys basketball program earned a split Tuesday night at Jackson.
The Dexter seventh grade boys basketball team improved to 11-0 with a 43-34 victory against Jackson.
Four players tallied points for Dexter in the seventh grade game. Braxton Foster led the way with 14 points. Seth Rogers added 12 more, Nate Gargas tallied 11 and Joe Rice recorded six points.
The Dexter seventh grade shot 14 of 24 from the free throw line, The Bearcats hits 12 two-pointers and one trey.
The Dexter eighth grade boys basketball team dropped to 9-3 with a 42-30 loss to Jackson.
Four players scored points for the Dexter eighth grade. Gabe Foster led the way with 11 points. Kole Kelley added eight more, Nick Trout scored seven and Ben Sindle contributed four for Dexter.
The Dexter eighth grade hit 10 of 17 free throws
Kelley hit both of Dexter's treys in the fourth quarter.
Dexter returns to action on Dec. 2 when it hosts Kennett.
