Members of the Dexter FFA chapter attended the 85th Annual Missouri State FFA convention on April 18-19. The convention was held at the Hearnes Center in Columbia, Mo. The members of the Dexter FFA earned their way in several different ways. Three members participated in the state FFA choir. ...

Members of the Dexter FFA chapter attended the 85th Annual Missouri State FFA convention on April 18-19. The convention was held at the Hearnes Center in Columbia, Mo.

The members of the Dexter FFA earned their way in several different ways. Three members participated in the state FFA choir. One performed talent during the convention. Two members received State award medals for their record books. One received a state award medal for the chapter scrapbook. Four members competed on the State Poultry judging team. One member received a state Proficiency award. One member received the State FFA degree.

While at the convention, four members participated in the State Courtesy Corps and three worked in the State Media Room.

Over 9,300 FFA members and guests attended the convention.

The guests attending from Dexter were Darren and Kay Davis and Vickie Shipman. Dexter's FFA sponsor is Ronnie Shipman.
