CHARLESTON, MO. -- Dexter pitcher Riley Rickman pitched a one-hit, nine-strikeout complete game and the Lady Bearcats defeated Charleston on the road Tuesday, 13-3 in five innings.

"We were able to take advantage of the Charleston pitcher's wildness," Dexter coach Leonard Morse commented. "We scored seven runs in the third inning on just three hits. Errors hurt Charleston."

Dexter picked up just its second win of the season against eight losses.

"Overall, we had a solid performance," Morse noted.

Dexter will next be in action Thursday at home against SCAA rival Puxico. First pitch is set for 4 o'clock at the Sports Complex fields.
