Ada Eunice Allstun, daughter of the late George S. Stewart and Eunice Ann Gines Stewart, was born on August 6, 1914, in rural Bloomfield, Missouri, and passed away on April 4, 2013, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 98. Mrs. Allstun was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ and a longtime resident of Dexter. She was employed at Elder Manufacturing Company in Dexter for over 40 years...

Ada Eunice Allstun, daughter of the late George S. Stewart and Eunice Ann Gines Stewart, was born on August 6, 1914, in rural Bloomfield, Mo., and passed away on April 4, 2013, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 98.

Mrs. Allstun was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ and a longtime resident of Dexter. She was active in the Dexter Hospital Auxiliary and was a Stoddard County Election Judge. She was employed at Elder Manufacturing Company in Dexter for over 40 years.

On December 28, 1939, she was united in marriage to Glen Middleton in Benton, Mo. Mr. Middleton preceded her in death on August 31, 1976. She was then united in marriage to Lorn Allstun on July 13, 1990, in Hot Springs, Ark. Mr. Allstun survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two stepdaughters, Joyce Kitchens and her husband, Bill, of Dexter, Mo., and Barbara Stroup of Bloomfield; by four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren; and by one nephew and six nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Edwin Stewart, Ward Stewart and Robert Stewart; and by two sisters, Priscilla Thrower and Glenna Tiller.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Travis Quertermous officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
