Dexter firefighters were called to a home at 922 W. Fannetta Street Sunday morning after a passerby in the residential neighborhood saw flames in the breezeway area in the front of the home shortly before noon. The individual who spotted the fire ran to the rear of the home, according to Fire Chief Don Seymore, and notified the home's occupants. Although the Bill Taylor family was at home when the fire broke out, no one was injured. The home, however, was engulfed in flames when firemen arrived, and was a total loss.
