Janet L. Killian, 72, died Jan. 7, 2013, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., after an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 31, 1940, near Advance, Mo., to the late Jack and Sybil Pixley Robison.
She was a 1958 graduate of Advance High School and a 1961 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.
Janet taught home economics at Gray Ridge, Mo., and at Thebes, Ill., before moving to the St. Louis area where she was a substitute teacher for many years.
Janet and Morris G. Killian were married Jan. 27, 1962, in Advance.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Tracy Killian Crews (Joel) of St. Louis and Alisa Killian of Phoenix, Ariz. She was a loving grandmother to Laura Belle Crews, Charley Crews, and Wiley Crews. Additional survivors include a sister, Linda Robison Spence (Jim) of Sikeston, Mo.; an uncle, Albert Robison of Jackson, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, James R. Robison, preceded her in death in 2008.
Funeral services were conducted Jan. 14, 2013, at Jefferson Barracks Military Cemetery in St. Louis.
