* Two accidents occurring during Tuesday's snowfall were reported by Dexter Police. The first occurred at 2:57 p.m. at Business 60 and WalMart Dr. when a vehicle driven by Harley L. Beck of Dexter rear-ended a vehicle driven by Kay Rowe, also of Dexter, while Rowe was stopped in traffic.
The second accident occurred at Arvin Rd. and Sycamore at 3:08 p.m. Police state a vehicle driven by Morgan A. Crider of Dexter rear-ended a vehicle driven by Billy L. Griffin of Bernie while Griffin was stopped in traffic.
* Police are investigating a report of counterfeiting from a local fast food restaurant.

* Wesley Darrell Tackett, 21, of Bloomfield was arrested on a warrant for first degree assault and armed criminal action. His bond was set at $75,000 cash, and he remains in jail. (This arrest is related to the Monday, Jan. 7 stabbing incident northeast of Dexter that sent two
men to the hospital. Details will appear
in Thursday's Daily Statesman.)
